A Short Message To Get You Excited For Sunday’s Worship Service.
When A King Washes Feet
Happy Thanksgiving! We hope you are finding much to be thankful for today. Most Americans will spend the day enjoying their blessings with family and being thankful, and then immediately turn around on Black Friday and begin to be focused on buying more stuff. Let’s continue the attitude of thanksgiving by looking to our King Jesus and see what He did as He was about to be put to death. He could have been doing anything, but we find Him serving.
With In John 13:1-17, Jesus washes His disciples’ feet, an act that would have been seen as out of place for a king. And in this simple act, Jesus does 4 specific things that I think have real spiritual significance. First, He laid aside His outer garment. Second, He put on a servant’s towel. Third, He filled the basin with water. And fourth, He washed their feet. Each of these actions tells us something amazing about Jesus, and gives us an example as well.
This Sunday, we will break down these 4 actions by Jesus as He served, and see what they mean as well as how they apply for our lives today. We hope to see you Sunday at 10:00 AM for Bible class and 11:00 AM for worship!

The Women's Ministry Program wants to make sure those unable to attend church are receiving visits! If you are not a member of the visitation committee but have visited someone recently, please let Cora Owens know. The visitation committee is creating a complete list of members to visit and wants to be sure no one is left out! Thanks in advance!
Tech Team Support
The Holly Hill Tech Team needs help. We would love to have a few more people trained and available to set up the livestreams and audio equipment. It’s a fairly simple task and you’ll be well trained before being thrown into the seat alone. If you’re interested, see David Jones, Brad Gregory, or Brad Proctor.
Meal Train & Potluck Ministry
If you’d like to help a family in need of a meal or sign up to bring a dish to a potluck, please contact Robin Mayes.
Building Security
We are in need of volunteers to make sure the building is locked following the conclusion of our Sunday & Mid-Week services. A sign-up sheet that runs through the remainder of the year has been place in the foyer. If you have any questions, please contact Scott Trent.
Youth Ministry
Holly Hill is beginning a search for a Children and Youth Minister. The Evangelistic Committee (Scott Trent, David Jones, Tom Owens, Jeff Jones, or Robert Roach) need your suggestions and input. Please pray for this position and for our congregation and for the search committee that will be formed in the coming days.

Greeting Card Ministry
Every Sunday there are cards spread out on a table in the auditorium, right in front of the nursery window, which will be sent out to various church members and guests who need encouragement. You can help serve and encourage by making sure to sign these cards each week. If you know someone who would benefit from receiving a card from the church, please provide the name and address to Joyce Best. We will have “Get Well” cards, “Thinking of You” cards, “Praying For You” cards, and “Sympathy” cards.
