A Short Message To Get You Excited For Sunday’s Worship Service.

Building Up The Temple

This Sunday, we’re looking at first Chronicles 29:10-19 at David‘s prayer before the building of the temple. He and the people had sacrificed by gathering all kinds of resources for the building up of the temple, and David prayed to God, and in his prayer, we see several reasons why building up the temple is so important.

While we are not building a physical temple today, we are building the spiritual temple of the church. It is just as important today to sacrifice and to serve in order to build up the temple of God‘s church and will look at the five reasons from this text of why it is still so important! Join us this Sunday as we build up the temple together!

An Update On The Casey Blessing Box

Steve is a member of Anderson Lodge #90 and a past member of the Board of Directors there. He received permission from the Master of the lodge and the board members to have the blessing box moved to their property. The reason for moving it is better access and no blocking of traffic. I apologize if anyone misread my original message. All items can continue to be placed in the Casey collection box at church and we will see that they are placed in the Casey Blessing Box.

Thank you,

Donna & Steve White

  • Greeting Card Ministry

Every Sunday there are cards spread out on a table in the auditorium, right in front of the nursery window, which will be sent out to various church members and guests who need encouragement. You can help serve and encourage by making sure to sign these cards each week. If you know someone who would benefit from receiving a card from the church, please give the name(s) and address to Joyce Best. We will have “Get Well” cards, “Thinking of You” cards, “Praying For You” cards, and “Sympathy” cards. You can also text the information to (502) 593-5865.
